No Win No Fee Leeds
This is the most popular way of funding injury compensation claims. Most of our clients use them. The title speaks for itself, but we will explain a little more.
We consider your claim with you for free and go through all of the options for funding your claim. If there are no other suitable ways of funding your claim, then we will consider offering you a No Win No Fee arrangment. If we think you have a good claim then we will always consider agreeing to this arrangement. If we agree to deal with your claim in this way, but for some reason your claim fails, then you will not pay a penny.
If your claim wins, then we guarantee that you will keep all of the money awarded to you. We will then be paid for our work by your opponent, but that will have no bearing on you at all.
We never ask you to pay anything towards the cost of the work we do recovering damages for you.
When we first meet we will give you a copy of the Agreement, go through it with you and answer any questions you might have.
Even though we will not ask you to pay any fees or costs the Agreement sets out the details so that you can see what we may receive from the responsible party if your case is successful.
There are of course other ways in which you can fund your case. One of these might be through existing legal expenses insurance cover; you might have this on a motor or household insurance policy or similar policy. You might have funding cover through a Trade Union membership. We will discuss all of your options.
There are no hidden charges with the No Win No Fee Agreement and we always make sure that you fully understand the Agreement before we invite you to sign it.
No Unexpected Bills
The main reason for the popularity of the No Win No Fee Agreement is that it is risk free to you and offers a realistic way of funding the costs of instructing us.
Sometimes cases do not settle by negotiation and it may be necessary to start Court proceedings. This is not common.
If that should happen, then we will advise you about taking out an insurance policy to cover you against having to pay your opponent’s costs if you later lose your claim.
The reason for this is that whilst we may be acting on a No Win No Fee Agreement and won’t charge you, the opponent would expect you to pay their costs if you did not win.
We would never allow you to start Court proceedings without fully advising you about the consequences and the option putting insurance in place to protect you wherever possible.
As your case continues it may be that your chances of success change and if that happens then we may not be able to carry on under a No Win, No Fee arrangement into the future.
You could then choose to carry on but paying privately for the work we do but we would discuss that with you at the time. You would not owe any money.
You would never receive an unexpected bill from us!
